Sports for all at River Park

March 25, 2010
If you are worried about keeping the kids entertained this Easter the staff at River Park Leisure Centre believe that they have the answer to your worries. A full program of activities will be on offer starting from the 6th April. Activities will include football, NEW ultimate frisbee, creepy crawly fun with Zoolab, swimming crash courses, fun in the pool, street dance and lots more.
With River Park already being at the fore front of centres tackling child hood obesity through its MEND program there is certainly plenty of activities for children of ages and sizes to get involved with.
General Manager Sarah Morgan said: ‘It is a very tricky time for parents to keep their children entertained and more and more parents do not want their children to stay at home watching the television and playing computer games. We offer a healthy alternative with plenty to choose from.’
With the government guidelines of 30 minutes of exercise 5 times a day it has never been more important to keep children active. With a program full of different sessions it would appear River Park Leisure Centre has covered every angle to keep children active this Easter holiday.
PLUS keep any eye for the activities planned for May ½ term!
