The Jigsaw Appeal for Women at the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals has organised a Skydive on Saturday 19th May 2012.
Jump for Jigsaw invites you to take the plunge and join us in an exhilarating 10,000 feet freefall tandem parachute jump. The money raised will go towards providing a brand new Women’s Health Unit at RBH. The new unit - which will treat around 17,000 local women every year - will be a centre of excellence to screen, diagnose and treat patients with breast and gynaecological cancer and for families undergoing complications in early pregnancy, including miscarriages.
No experience is necessary and if you raise the minimum amount of £395 sponsorship you will get to jump for FREE! Last year our brave jumpers included a lady that had never even been on a plane before and a lady who jumped as part of her 60th birthday celebrations. Jigsaw Appeal Events Officer Lindsey Sturman said “Anyone can get involved, young, old, those that have never jumped before or those adrenalin junkies amongst us that have jumped before. What is guaranteed is the experience of a lifetime”.
And as if you didn’t need any more encouragement - any jumper who raises over £500 will gain automatic entry into our raffle to win an Audi A1.
You can get an information pack from the from the Jigsaw office in the main atrium at RBH, by emailing lindsey.sturman@rbch.nhs.uk or by calling 01202 704060.
