While Matt Cardle might be better known as an Essex boy, as our interview with him on page 37 shows, he is born and bred South Coast son, originating from Southampton. This March he is coming back to the region as part of his current UK tour.
The guitar-playing pop star found fame on the X Factor in 2010 when his soft voice and signature paint-splattered cap won over crowds. Since then he has gone on to have big hits with singles ‘When We Collide’ and ‘Run for Your Life’.
