August Shop of the Month: Forest Leisure Cycles

August 2, 2011
With 10 years in the business, Forest Leisure Cycles know everything there is to know about cycling. In fact, last year Forest Leisure Cycles placed eighteenth in the Top 50 UK Bike Shops List compiled by the Association of Cycle Traders.

“We won the award for our excellent service,” says Marc McHale. “Our staff here are all super-friendly and approachable and have experience in a variety of different cycle disciplines; from BMX to downhill, road racing and cross country.”

Since taking over the business three years ago,
Marc McHale has pushed it to new heights, improved service and staff training. “In the last three years we have expanded our range of bikes to cater for a wider range of cyclists – from the occasional family cyclist, commuter and to the serious racer.”

Marc’s fully trained team, led by Manager Nigel Hunt, are experts in all aspects of cycling, from initially purchasing the right bike for your needs, right through to ensuring it is set-up, serviced and maintained correctly. “We run a servicing centre for all types of bicycle and we will repair any bike, even if it wasn’t bought at our shop,” says Marc.

As well as stocking a varied range of bikes, Forest Leisure Cycles also boast an impressive stock of clothing and equipment for all types of cycling and are backing the government’s cycle to work scheme, which could save you up to 50% off a new bike if you visit their website.

Forest Leisure Cycles is located at 1143-1145 Christchurch Road, Boscombe East, Dorset, BH7 6BW. For more information, call 01202 424945 or visit www.flcuk.com
