Spice enthusiasts should hit the Great Dorset Chilli festival from the 13-14 August for a weekend of heated fun!

With an array of spicy specialities to explore, foodies will be pleased to know that not just chilli based produce will be on offer but garlic from the Isle of White, artisan baked goods and a delicious selection of local ice creams to cool the palette.

Live cooking demonstrations will be held by some of the best chilli enthusiasts who are only too happy to share their expertise on over several hundred varieties of chilli's.

Adults will be pleased to know that much delights are also to be found at the bar with local beers and ales complimenting the heat of the chilli-based vodka and ciders.

Enjoy the atmospheric experience with live music and games, ending in the ultimate ‘chilli off’. Can you handle the heat in the chilli eating contest? The winner earns a bottle of the infamous Dorset naga chilli sauce, the finest the county has to offer and one of the hottest chillis in the world.

The event is sponsored by Domestic Sprinklers Ltd and held at The National Trust’s beautiful Kingston Lacy, which sets the perfect backdrop to the hot weekend.
