The months ahead can often lead to facial breakouts, dryness and dehydration. Changes in weather conditions, central heating and diet can all have an impact. Here are a few tips and products to avoid those pesky problems...
MAKE UP REMOVAL RITUAL
Your bedtime routine should involve a makeup removal ritual! Sounds like a lot of effort when you are already tired but your skin will thank you for it in the morning. Always cleanse twice, once to remove dirt, makeup, pollution and dead skin cells off the surface and then the second time to actually clean the skin itself.
ENJOY A STEAMING CUP OF HERBAL TEA
Herbal teas are the perfect replacement to teas and coffees with high caffeine content, which can drain skin of water. Can't stand the taste?! Thoroughly cleanse your skin (see step 1)and steam your skin by filling a bowl of water with almost boiling water and adding a few drops of your favourite pure essential oils. Peppermint is refreshing and the steam will open pores softening the skin and allowing a better absorption of moisturiser.
REDNESS RELIEF
Experiencing redness and uneven skin tone? Demalogica's moisturiser Sheer Tint Redness Relief has just had a little update. This fresh cream is almost gel like, squeezing it from the tube it's initially green in colour but melts onto skin refreshing it and neutralising the red. With daily use the skins condition will only improve further. SPF 20 gives protection and it's gorgeous under makeup.
