This month is all about soft stiletto nails and preparing for the Autumn/Winter fashion season.

While we can all hope for an Indian summer in September, the reality is that it is the beginning of the Autumn/ Winter fashion season. There will be a definitive guide in next month’s issue of Listed to the season’s trends, but at Soda we have already been mood boarding- if such a verb exists!- and photo shooting our Winter Blow Dry Bar Menu. I just get too excited with catwalk previews and fashion reports and shops get stocks of snugly knitwear!

These will be beautiful pictures of our £20 blow drys and dry styling looks, come in and select a style to suit your mood. We will then recreate it in just 30 minutes (depending on hair length)!

This month I have also discovered soft stiletto nails, pointed polished nails, which are this season’s must have shape. I suppose it’s the classic oval nail shape pushed to the max but with all the extra length celebs, including Katy Perry, Rhianna, Lady Gaga and Fergie from Black Eyed Peas, are opting for bright block reds, block blues and harsh metallics. You will have to keep them to a soft point though for your own personal health and safety but it’s quite wearable when you give it a try! Don’t be a square!
