This Guy Fawkes Night why not go watch a very special fireworks show in your area.
In Dorset, Weymouth Beach hold one of the biggest events in the county, with thousands of families gathering on the esplanade to enjoy the free celebrations. A wealth of family entertainment is on offer including a Guy Fawkes competition, which will be judged by some very special guests at 5.45pm, a fun fair and a beach bonfire. The climax of the evening will be a fabulous free international firework display at 7.20pm over Weymouth's moonlit bay.
In Hampshire, the magnificent setting of Royal Victoria Country Park is holding spectacular fireworks. There’s plenty for children to do including miniature train rides, a mini fun fair and sweet stalls. Also new for this year is the craft fayre in the Chapel. Gates open at 5.30pm and the fireworks start from 7.30pm. Tickets cost Adults £7, Family £20.
