A deadly assassin seeks revenge after she is betrayed and set up during a mission...
Mallory Kane (Gina Carano) is a highly trained operative who works for a corporation that specialises in doing the Government's dirty work.
As a former Navy Seal Mallory has seen her fair share of action and certainly knows how to handle herself.
She lands a job in Barcelona, where she and colleague Aaron (Channing Tatum) lead a crack team on a rescue mission for a captured Chinese journalist.
Her next assignment takes her to Dublin, where she goes undercover as the arm-candy of a charming operative named Paul (Michael Fassbender).
It isn’t the super soldier’s usual kind of job and it doesn’t work in her favour. She is double-crossed by a member of her own agency.
Mallory will need to utilise all of her resources and black-ops training to stay alive.
She is determined to find out who set her up and will fight until her last breath to uncover the truth.
Haywire is an adrenalin-pumping action-thriller from Oscar-winning 'Contagion' director Steven Soderbergh. Carano’s action scenes steal the show. Impressively she performed all her own stunts.
However that doesn't make up for the fact that the storyline feels very disjointed and ends very abruptly.
